Ken Goodwin, CPA graduated from Marycrest in Accounting and Business Management. He became a CPA in 1989. He has worked for two public accounting firms as well as agribusinesses and a manufacturing business before starting his firm in 2001. He had volunteered seven years a a board member (including Chair) of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce and is currently on the board of directors of the Morris Downtown Development Partnership, Inc.. Mr. Goodwin has many farmer, trucking, restaurant, small business, and not-for-profit clients. Ken Goodwin in addition to being married since 1980 with two beautiful daughters enjoys running and playing tennis as his hobbies.
Tanya Downey is an accounting graduate from Lewis University and has been with the firm since 2005. Tanya is responsible for much of the write-up work as well as the payroll and sales tax part of our business. Having been with the firm the longest has made her invaluable to our clients. Tanya Downey has been married since 2007 and has two children.
Judy Hauch has an accounting degree from Andrews University as well as an IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer. She has been with the firm since 2010. She worked for two public accounting firms prior to starting her own accounting and tax service. She then went to work for the private sector for a Not-for-Profit entity and continued to operate her tax business. She is active in her church as well as the local community.
Ken Goodwin, CPA. has been in practice since October of 2001. He started in a small office in downtown Morris and has purchased a commercial building on Route 47 to accomodate the increased staffing needs of his firm.
He has been a CPA since 1989 and belongs to the Illinois CPA Society as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed in the State of Illinois.
He is a member of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce, the Morris Downtown Development Partnership Inc., and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
He is also a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor.
His entire philosophy is rooted in the tradition of providing excellent service to his clients while maintaining the highest standards of the accounting profession. From this foundation, he offers specialized services: strategic tax planning for individuals and businesses and consulting services that include Quickbooks support. His firm provides all general accounting services that include payroll, bookkeeping, and financial statements. The firm has a large agriculture clientele base due to Ken Goodwin's extensive farming and agribusiness backgrounds. Ken also has several trucking, restaurant, financial professionals, small business, and Not-For-Profit clients.
